WFSB

The old app had its problems but for the most part, worked really well. This new one is full of ads, most of the articles don't even load, and a lot of the national articles seem to crash the app. There's always been a lot of notifications to begin with, usually when the news starts. This was manageable for me but now there's way more than usual to the point it's too annoying. I'm keeping the second star since WFSB is my choice for news, but I'm using the Fox61 app until this one is fixed.

This used to be a great app. It still has lots of information but I think channel 3 needs to change their advertising. Their commercials always say " You can rely on a app when every second counts" . Then why do I have to watch a mattress commercial before I can check the radar when a severe thunderstorm is coming in? They never had commercials before and now there are pop-ups and videos all the time.

Ads are ridiculously long and excessive. I receive push notifications with great headlines. However, when I want to know more about the actual news story in the notification, I'm brought to view the entire live news broadcast vs. the article with the news story from the notification. UI is clunky, can be difficult to navigate when looking for something specific, such as a news article.
